Who we are
Established in 2010, Brynne began her baking journey with a local farmer’s market in Central, MA. This allowed Brynne to build her business with trying out new recipes, connecting with customers, and building a truly unique business model. She furthered her baking education through baking classes at King Arthur Flour in Norwich, VT and The Kneading Conference in Skowhegan, Maine.
Brynne’s Bread has evolved over the years from farmers market, CSA, retail outlets, self service bakery truck, teaching classes, events, weddings, and pop-ups.
In 2018 Brynne was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. This forced her to take a step back from baking to focus on getting medical treatments. This also allowed Brynne and her husband Chris to brainstorm ideas in which to make her business set up easier and unique. The Mini truck was the perfect solution. The open low to the ground bed was ideal for building a caravan of sorts on the back that would allow for an all-in-one display.
The Mini truck has become the icon of Brynne’s Bread. It’s compact design allows for easy set up and break down for any event or market. The Mini truck is a Subaru Sambar imported from Japan and yes it is a right side drive standard truck! With a new truck in the works, the Mini Truck will exclusively be used as the road side self service stand here in Oakham, MA.
Brynne values the importance of life balance. When she’s not in the bakery you can find her out hiking, working in her ceramics studio, and spending time with her husband, two kids, and adorable dog. If you ever visited the Mini truck on the weekends, you might had the chance to meet Laski. She is the official greeter and enjoys pets on the head and treats.
Brynne’s Bread was honored in the Summer of 2023 with being on the cover of the Edible Worcester magazine. A beautiful magazine that highlights so many great local businesses in the area. If you want a chance to read the article, click on the link below.
